Finished Season 2 of Fire Force. That was a blast. Some really good story arcs throughout.
I need Season 3 asap. I've read there's going to be a Fire Force related announcement in SJ next week, with the final chapter, but i won't hold my breath.
I need to hurry up and watch the remaining 300+ episodes of gintama. I really want this.
Anyway, this week's pickups. Probably the end for this month for me barring 1 or 2 things.
Seraph of The End part 2 - I've had part 1 for years but never watched it nor bought the second part. Man these...
This week's pick ups, some funded by it being my birthday a week ago!
Anime:
Shiki - Been wanting to rewatch this for a while and it's nowhere to be seen on streaming platforms so had to buy it on ebay. Got it for a comparatively good price (£40)
Fire Force Season 2 - Loved the first season...
Watched Goblin Slayer and the Goblin Crown movie. Pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this series. I liked the cast of (mostly) nameless characters. Good comradery between them all. Plenty of violence and the kast arc in the TV Series was something I wanted to see, especially the...
Thanks for the reply. Having to wait for them to get my items back feels like you're being punished for their mistake, so I might impress upon them that this isn't a great first experience, to try and get them sooner ha
Hi, I used UP1 for the first time. Ordered Fire Force Season 2 part 1 and 2 but they sent me the parts for season 1.
Does anyone know how they deal with returns etc? I hope I dont have to wait for them to receive my incorrect copies before they post them out, wanted to start FFS2 tonight :/
Finished Fire Force Season 1. Very enjoyable stuff. Progressed at a decent pace with each mini arc being 3 episodes or so. Plot is rather interesting, so are the characters. Fights looked pretty good with a decent array of powers.
Gonna have to buy season 2 now as it's gripping stuff. Hope...
Post payday splurge netted me these:
The Bird with the Crystal Plumage and Deep Red: Argento classics, 4K releases from amazon. Really nice sets
Legendary Weapons of China: More Shaw Brothers goodness from 88 films
Criminal: Stanley Baker crime flick from Studio Canal
LifeBoat, The Lost...
Great haul. I have Mr.Vampire in slip but out of these I am missing slips on Heart of Dragon and The Master, so win some you lose some ha.
I've also skipped a few titles here that I'm not really interested in like Zu Warriors, Come Drink with Me and Bride with White Hair.
I'm going to buy the...
I had it when it came out, but sold it unwatched (and i think unopened!) when I was downsizing and preparing for my eventual house ownership a few years back. Got the Collectors Edition from AL in the last mystery box offering, not as good as the UE but still looks rather nice!
Finished Terror in Resonance. Man,i really enjoyed this. I know it wasn't received amazingly well when it first came out, but i liked the mystery and the characters. The episode in the airport was fantastic viewing imo and the final view episodes was rather tense and done really well.
This weeks deliveries. Not much anime..
The House that dripped blood: Trying to complete my horror portmanteau collection. Already had Asylum from Second Sight so needed to get this too even though it's OOP. Managed an acceptable price.
Blood for Dracula: 4K LE from Severin films. A "unique"...
Yeah i posted all my crime thriller recommendations earlier on. I honestly fell off Korean cinema around 2013 and only seen a couple since. Used to import the Blu-rays from Korea from the likes of CJ ent but it eventually got to around £30 for a film and i just couldn't justify it any more...
It is indeed great (I didnt recommend it though, stuck to crime thrillers) but other historical Korean films like War of The arrows such as Roaring Currents (from the sam director as War) The Tiger and finally imo one of the greatest war films, Tae Guk Gi (Brotehrhood)
Yeah literally only just been added a few days ago.
Eureka are announcing their april slate today and looks like there's two Yuen Biao films coming in the form of Dreadnaught and Knockabout.
