    Gundam SEED is encoded with incorrect RGB levels. You should set Blu-ray player RGB level to Full when watching this BD (under normal circumstances it should be set to Limited). The SDBD discs don't have this issue. UK / corrected US BD JP BD

    I expect to see similar reviews from Dutch mainstream media in the coming weeks, maybe even next week due to loosening of COVID restrictions. Doesn't help that the series isn't being streamed here, so the only way to watch is via piracy/imports/vpn.

    There are problem-free but expensive Japanese sets of K-On season 1 & 2 with English subs. btw, season 1 episode 1 has altered music in the international releases.

    Sentai's BD uses the Japanese remaster, not the old Italian remaster. The old remaster has less filtering, but it inherently has more grain and contrast because it's sourced from some kind of a dupe element. Japanese remaster uses an original camera negative scan. Discotek BD has out-of-sync...
