Kaiju No 8
This series has a great concept and is genuinely funny in places. It also has fantastic monster designs, Kafka's monster form (the titular Kaiju No 8 is particularly inspired) and good characters. Quite intrigued to see where it's going. Been reading on the Shonen Jump app but I think...
Thanks man. I've made a lot of import orders to Japanese stores like Mandarake, hobbylink etc but I've rarely bought anything from auction sites outside of ebay. Will investigate these when I finish work tonight.
It was the One Piece replica sheet (the one with the manga panel of crying luffy) that I was after. did you get that from Jauce as well?
Appreciate the info @Jay2021
I must admit though I do also like that image with Zoro and Luffy you linked to. 🤔
For @Gemsy-chan Couldn't get a screenshot from my software which showed the subs so I went old school and just took a photo of my TV. I watched a few scenes and didn't see any bad spelling grammar or other errors. It all looked pretty well written from what I've seen. Of course the special...
I'll try and share a screenshot when I get the chance @Gemsy-chan The post showed the menu for subs but I don't think it showed an example of translation. I only own a handful of JP releases with English subs however they've all had good grammar and good wording so far. Hopefully this is the same.
Just got a package from Amazon Japan. Didn't realise this blu ray had English subs until recently. Limited Edition of Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress movie "The Battle of Unato". I love the series and recently saw the movie for the first time and needed the blu. Considering it seems to still have...
I gotta ask Denny. Do you like every series in there? or do you collect as a completionist thing? Was it you who was trying to get all the UK releases at one point? Tell me your collector's "tale"...... I'm intrigued.
Prices updated and some things sold elsewhere removed. Willing to haggle a bit on certain prices. Just ask if there's anything you're interested in here or via DM.
Oh yeah It is kind of daft in places, very typical pulpy 80's manga and like you say it definitely has the feel of italian b-movies and many older anime OVAs in that it borrows a lot from American cinema but in a fun way. Definitely my kind of thing.
Just read Cyber Blue Vol 1. It's a scan as it's not officially available. Really fun and dark 80's sci-fi actioner/revenge thriller with art by Buronson of Fist of the north star fame and written by two guys called Ryuichi Mitsui and BOB (must be a pen name). Feels kind of like a mixture of...
Hi everyone. Selling a few DVDs (and a small number of blu rays), also a few anime related action figures. Everything is in mint condition except for one DVD set (Trigun) - details below. All figures are complete with instructions, all accessories and display stands etc. Many of these figures...
Bit of info for fellow collectors: Not sure if anyone's interested but thought it a good thing to post here just in case I could help anyone out.
If anyone is wanting to pick up the Hellboy (2004) 4K HMV Exclusive Cine Edition I suggest getting it now because I just learned it's deleted as of...
Got a nice mini haul from Rightstuf of Arion, Memories and the Votoms so-called "Complete" collection. Also a nice Patlabor print from an Etsy artist called E.Hanby.
