I track all my anime on MyAnimeList: I use the 'Plan to Watch' list on MAL to keep track of everything I haven't watched yet and all my watched anime are rated in the Completed section. Thus far I've never dropped an anime, so this system works for me.
Persona 2: Eternal Punishment is the most expensive game I've ever bought, but it's in really nice condition and I was able to pick it up in the Netherlands so there were no import fees.
Many years ago I've played Persona 3 FES and Persona 4 Golden and before I'm going to explore Persona 5...
Yesterday I visited the Heroes: Made in Asia convention in Utrecht, The Netherlands. There I picked up a bunch of stuff (mostly imported drinks). Highlight is of course the collector's edition of Metaphor: ReFantazio. Not included in this picture is a poster of Perfect Blue that I also picked up...
It's the complete reverse for me haha. I used to play whatever RPG crossed my path, but I know if I really want be enjoying RPGs again I should be a lot more selective. With anime I don't care as much, since you can finish most of them in 5-10 hours.
Before I went nuts with anime in late 2020, I was always playing and buying (J)RPGs. I've logged more than 100 RPGs over the years (including really unique ones like Panzer Dragoon Saga and Terranigma).
My anime hobby has completely replaced my RPG hobby, but I want to try playing them again...
If we talk about wanted home video releases:
Is there any chance that March Comes in Like a Lion part 3 and 4 will ever get released? The Aniplex of America version is out of print, which means that nowadays you have to pay £1500 just for part 4... In the past (when the first 2 parts were...
Since After War Gundam X (part 2) has been out of print, prices on eBay have been completely out of control. Most listings are way above $200 USD just for part 2. I really hope that one will one day be released by AtA.
Two pretty obscure items:
As far as I know Discotek never released the 1996 Kimagure Orange Road movie, so I had to settle with the old ADV version on DVD.
While looking through a bunch of adverts, I found Junkers Come Here. Not familiar with this one, but it was cheap and the theme of the...
Last year Crunchyroll had an End of Year sale going on (just like Rightstuf used to do). They still haven't done that this time (they did some sales in December, but not as eleborate as in previous years). I'm afraid it's not going to happen anymore. It used to be the best sale of the year.
One of my all time favourite shows. Thus far the only way I could legally watch this was buying the Dutch version on dvd, but that version only has an awful Dutch dub. Even with the Dutch dub it was wonderful to watch. Very happy with this announcement!
My haul from the AtA Christmas Sale:
As other people have stated the Last Chance items really set things off and I was really lucky to grab both the Ultimate Edition of Escaflowne and the Collector's Edition of Re:Zero Season One. I was really surprised by the Collector's Edition of Snow White...
