There weren't many self-contained stories in the first series of GetBackers. Episode 9 is part of a two part story so probably the next best thing. It does seem a rather random choice.

Yesterday the volume 7, the final DVD, of DNAngel arrived. This makes my first complete anime series on DVD.

The pre-armour version of Alphonse Elric. Since my last posting raised me State Alchemist it seemed appropriate to have an avatar from Full Metal Alchemist.

The fifth and final volume of the Candidate for Goddess manga arrived in the post this morning. (That delivery also included a poster of the solar system which became out-of-date a few hours later - but it still looks good)

Yu Yu Hakusho volume 5 (DVD) arrived in the post yesterday.

Recent additions have pushed that total beyond 100. No more completed or up to date series, although I expect to catch up with or complete Bleach, Naruto, DNAngel and Candidate for Goddess by the end of the year, but three more first volumes.

Reverted to the Conan from Case Closed/Detective Conan as it was changed after being active for only a few days first time.

A change of logo mid-series is annoying but if you are buying the books as they come out over several years then it is something that can't be avoided. Much worse is to have odd books, or book, of the one logo interspersed among the rest of the books with another logo.

Morning:Case Closed vol 10 (manga) arrived in the post. Afternoon:When I was in town, I gained some Ottakar's Manga Club stamps with Yu-Gi-Oh Duelist vol 3 and DNAngel vol 7 (the only volume of the manga that doesn't seem to be available from Play).

Some of those titles seem familiar. Didn't they crop up on the old CNX channel? It seems, to be brutally frank, that Adult Swim on Bravo = the dregs of CNX.
