Rate the last anime you watched out of 10

Last worthwhile series I watched was Planetes. I personally thought it was a great series, felt like I could relate to the characters, the main character especially and the story was brilliant throughout. It's what I'd call a true science fiction series. Unlike most anime, it's a believable...

What are you buying on release, at the mo?

I'm up-to-date on and pre-ordering the following as they come out: Berserk Ooku Ikigami MPD Psycho Dorohedoro Eden: It's an endless world (Finally a volume 13 release date, let's hope we don't wait another year for 14) Still trying to catch up with Gantz and the nice vizbig Vagabond sets.

    What is your favourite manga?

I'm loving Berserk, I think Wildcard sums up why I like it so much. It's just a great manga fantasy. I also enjoy Eden: It's an endless world & Biomega because of their dysotopian elements. Eden is also quite philosophical. Also, I'm currently reading Pluto x tezuka, why do I like it...

Anime moments that made you cry/scream "NOOOOO!!!"

I'd probably have to say the last few episodes of Texhnolyze. The ending with the final song made me shed a few tears.

    Hip Hop Anime

I was massively influenced by the underground hip-hop movement in the early 2000's but have since gone back to my musical roots from the 90's. I guess you could say that it was was a fad that lasted a while but I eventually went back to what I knew best. I still sometimes listen to guys like...

How many different shows do you have "in progress"

I'm currently watching Samurai Champloo, about halfway through. I watched most of that over two days, early on in the week but after a personal problem, I haven't managed to get around to watching it again. I have a whole bunch of series to watch which I hope to watch over holiday breaks or...

    Eden! It's and endless world Volumes 8 & 9

Hi, I'm looking for these two volumes at a reasonable price. It might be a slim chance but it's worth a try. I'm not sure if they were even released over here in the UK. Thanks!

    Recommendations?

I think you'd probably enjoy: Mushi-shi Kino's Journey Haibane Renmei Eureka Seven Also, give Texhnolyze a try too. You never know.

Your Top 5 Most Wanted Anime Title to be Licensed in the UK?

Again, the Monster anime is bumming me out. No chance of seeing a UK release and even in the US it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. How frustrating!!

    HMV

Most HMV's in the big towns or cities have a fairly good anime collection. The problem is that I own most of the series they have and they're just way too expensive. I remember about 5 years ago when they were selling all the old manga entertainment movies/short series in Swindon at very good...

    What's your fave genre?

I enjoy the whole Sci-fi/cyberpunk genres. Also, psychological. I agree with Lupus, anime is not all that great atm.

Highschool of the Dead finally to get an anime adaptation.

I can't think of any other zombie anime. There's certainly nothing along the lines of a Romero movie. As for manga, I haven't started reading it yet but I have high hopes for Biomega. Walking dead is great once you get into it.

Highschool of the Dead finally to get an anime adaptation.

I stumbled across Romero's new movie Survival of the dead and I was thinking of making a topic regarding zombie anime. I've never heard about this but I'll definately give it a go since I'm a massive fan of the zombie genre of horror......Romero's stuff, zombie flesh eaters, resident evil...

    MW or Tanpenshu

I know, I know. Problem is I've had two great cases for each, from you with Tanpenshu and someone else with MW, so I'm torn. They both seem right up my street. It's whether I go with what I know, obviously if I like Eden then I'll most likely enjoy Tanpenshu or try something new with one...

Eat man 98 - 7/10 I'm a sucker for the 'lone traveller' genre of anime (See Mushi-shi, Kino's Journey, etc). This was along those lines. Granted, this series was not on par with those just mentioned but it was still a fairly enjoyable series to watch. The general concept of Eat man is quite...

    MW or Tanpenshu

So, I've got a little bit of money to throw around. I'm planning to buy some of my missing Berserk volumes as the main priority. If I had my way, I would like to get both of these but for now I can only afford to pick one. It's either MW or Tanpenshu 1 & 2. Which is the better manga?

Blue Seed 6/10 This series had potential. It had that old school feel about it and the story seemed half decent. Pretty much every episode in the first half of the series follows the same concept, the first half of the episode contains your general character interaction then the second half...

Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuiokuhen 9/10 You don't often find many good and serious samurai anime but this manages to be both and has been a pleasure to watch, even though it's a fairly short series. What it has done is ignite an interest in the Rurouni Kenshin brand as I'm fairly new to it. The story...

    Should i continue Berserk?

Berserk doesn't have too many morals, it's a pretty brutal affair. I can't speak for the anime but I'm currently reading what the anime series covers and I'm hooked. For me, it's interesting to see how Guts and Griffith get to where they are in the present day. I'm hesitant to watch the anime...

Well, firstly, I'd like to set the record straight. Married, not quite but getting there. My partner and I live in sin everyday by having a child and not being married. I only hope that God will not look down on me too harshly when, someday, I meet my maker. Secondly, I would never do such a...
