Hi...guess I'm going to wade in among the frequent posters
I have the first three seasons on DVD as I imported from the US last year. I watched the first series sometime last year, then Slayers next during the first term of this year, and finished over Slayers try in the Christmas...
Knowing me I'm probably missing out on the major sites, but I have used "archonia" a few times. They don't have a massive amount of stock, but they had enough for me.
However due to shipping costs it works out better to buy in one large order and get delivery with a courier and tracking...
Decided to get some manga.
Bleach 21-24
Skip beat 5-6
Rosario+Vampire 1-3
Suzunari! Volume 1 (creepy catgirl )
And also Arm of Kannon 1-3 to try, because I found new copies for cheap :D
Anime:
Death note vol.3
GiTS solid state society
The girl who leapt through time
Manga
Skip beat 1-4. I've been planning on starting the manga since watching the anime on crunchyroll :D
I enjoyed it quite a bit. I found it funny, and then it got serious, but overall it just came out of nowhere (I brought it as the 3 volumes were £5 each) and was really good :D
Alas I already own Abenobashi and Mahoromatic (once again, individual volumes were about £5  )
17-21 of Daughter of twenty faces. Got caught in it, had to keep watching, so now I'm ahead of the university animesoc.
And to think I was worried about falling behind as I went home for reading week
I'm happy I'll finally get volume 6 (he hopes) but it'll be interesting to see if a success leads to both previous and future volumes being published :)
I have the first two volumes because 8 episodes for £11.99 was one of the few things that the UK industry impressed me with. However I too am a cheap bastard, and having seen the prices volumes 1 & 2 dropped to, I'm playing the waiting game with volume 3.
I also wish to see what they plan...
Ditto, my copy arrived today. It had been out of stock when I ordered, and I'd forgotten it so I was wondering why I had a parcel waiting for me
Then I saw £5.99 and remembered
I brought seasons 1-10 of Friends for £54 and it might arrive tomorrow. Wonder how long before my housemates get sick of hearing "I'll be there for you"
