I've been the same for a while now. I just couldn't be bothered watching anime any more. I'd still buy the next volumes of the series i'd been watching, but they would just go on the shelf to gather dust. For me, I think it was because i'd just watched so much of it that I needed a break...

It was either that or Mad Machine, but I couldn't find a decent version of that. :( You know, I even have the first 2 disks of the Bubblegum Crisis vocal collection on my MP3 player and it's the only anime related stuff on it.

To be honest, probably too hard. I'm still on my first nib, but I don't think I will be for much longer. One of my mates at work has beein using his Intuos for about 10 years now, as an illustator/retoucher he uses it for everything he does and he's still on his first nib. :eek:

Bubblegum Crisis has always been one of my favourite series and is something that - with the right backing - I've always thought could make a fantastic movie. Unfortunately reading this, i'm not too sure it has that backing. :?

One thing I will just add though... They don't have the clear protective sheet that the Intuos have, so the rougher texture seems to eat pen nibs like nobodys business. :( I keep meaning to get a sheet of smooth acetate and trim it to fit so that the nibs last longer.

Not sure about the one your friend recomended, but I bought an A5 Wacom Bamboo Fun a couple of months ago and it's fantastic. Even though it's called Fun, it's actually close to professional grade and how I ever got along without it I have no idea. Takes a little getting used to at first...

It wasn't worth the price when it was free in Neo, so it certainly isn't worth the price now you have to pay for it.

When I watched it, I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Having said that though, I couldn't watch more than a few episodes at a time as he really started to get on my nipples after while. Oh, and it has the typical 'Is that it?' ending that most anime tend to have.
