Well, thing is, most people would rather get the UK dvds than the chinese release. Add to the fact the chinese release has subtitle problems, some skipped next ep previews and of course a lack of English/French/German dubs and the R3s dont look quite so good anymore.

4th episode was the best on the disc, tho the one about the kidnappend girl was intriguing too. For some reason i keep thinking this would do really well on TV.

That is the offical Chinese release tho :P Yes they do happen ;) Still poor subs on this tho, apparently.

As i said, its the chinese release. Which as i found out on another forum (animeondvd.com) has screwy subs. The Korean release of SEED only has Korean subs anyway.

If its the chinese release the English subtitles are pretty screwy. Plus of course youll miss out on the English, French and German dubs. Anyway, SEED will be 50 eps over 10 discs. Hopefully it will end up that a dvd will come out every month or maybe even every two weeks, heh.

Iv e seen the first episode (from a Newtype disc) and it was pretty good. I think TRSI are releasing a boxset of it, so ill get it then.

Yes i got hit by the DVD Pacific hacker. Luckily i cancelled my card when i got the email from them about it. I still use them because aside from that they have been relibale. Never had a customs fee like that, you must be ordering too much in one go. Plus why does everyone keep going on about...

Go on, order from amazon. You know you want to ;) Ive got fed up with play as well, esp with Tsukihime, since thats due out in 10 days. If they add the boxes before they come out i can simply cancel my amazon orders anyway :)

Just preordered Tsukime vol 1 + artbox and Parionia Agent vol 1 + art box.

Up1 cost to much more than importing from the US. Really dont get why people on here "love" them so much. Dont know where your getting your R1s from, Red XIII, but ive never heard of customs holding on to something more than a day or so.

They where pretty rubbish as previews tbh. They lasted about 30 seconds each, and where simply around 5 seconds or so of footage looping. The comments from the cast was pretty funny tho, at least in the dub.
