Got most of this weeks now, just going to order the rest from play.com
Im not sure where play.com got the RRP of Sakura Diaries from, since i got it for £19.99 in HMV today. With NUS discount its the same price as play.
critically acclaimed eh?
For some reason that dont fill me with much confidence. Oh well.
LMAO!!! From the site:
We have secured rights to loads of films, and some of them are even good!
Trigun - Vol. 4: Gung-Ho Guns
Chrono Crusade - Vol. 3: The World, The Flesh And The Devil
Mezzo: Shell 1
Aquarian Age: Vol.1 - Awakening
Gad Guard - Vol.4: Collections
Sakura Diaries Collection
Get Backers - Vol. 4: Battles With The Past
I need to pick all tese up some point...
I would leap all over that.
Anyway, out of the titles they are starting with im going to get 2 of em, Case Closed (who cares about the changed names - due to the Japanese company natch (at least for the anime)) and Fushigi Yuugi.
Out of the other 3, ill get Rurouni Kenshin for sure.
The edited version will probably fall flat on its face (i mean, even Yu-Gi-Oh sold better uncut then edited, which is probably why 4kids wont be releaing any more uncuts)
Wonder what they would do then tho? Continue releasing Naruto as box sets or change release schedule?
This was amazon tho, amazon doesnt deal with Diamond (they are the guys comic stores get comics and stuff from, hence there name), they normally import from there US branch, and as so it list both US and UK price.
But if you look at ADV manga listings now...
Just made a small manga order on amazon which contains:
Chobits Volume 7
Cromartie High School Volume 1
Cromartie High School Volume 2
and
Yotsuba&! Volume 1 (may i add thats its by the creator of Azumanga Daioh!)
Anyone else notice that ADV manga have got a UK distributor now?
