Hmm, doesn't look too good from the trailers. I mean, the art and animation aren't bad, but they're nothing special. Plus, it's usually a fair assumption that only the best footage will be used in trailers, and also that the art will generally go downhill from the start of a series. Oh well.

Yes, Air was an H-game, as was Kanon. Clannad wasn't, which seems rather... odd... as it has the most mature character designs. I do find the concept of the characters from those series in an H-game a little creepy though. I try not to think about it.

Mmm. Ordinarily I would've said it's quality would be enough to get it licenced regardless, but with the rate of new licences seemingly decreasing it's likely that companies will go for safe bets. And while Denno Coil is certainly good, it feels to me sorta different from your usual anime...
