Gintoki is awesome, you can't beat a hero with high blood pressure that reads Jump. I saw to around episode 20 I think but then lost track of it, I may have to catch up though seeing as I've heard there is a parody of Densha Otoko (which I adore).

Yeah same here, I've seen a few panels of the manga floating around on the net and it looks fairly harmless, just looks like a bit of a risqué comedy really, its not like the teacher is actually having sex with the kid or anything, I presume that doesn't happen anyway...

They need to release Zettai Shonen, especially since practically no one bothered to watch it when it was fansubbed.

I got it the day it came out, mainly because of boredom, its quite fun though suprisingly and the online play works fairly well I suppose.

I think the ending of it is actually quite good, it all goes a bit mental in the last few episodes which is what I liked about it. George Lucas ballsed them up, not that it mattered, they still made crap loads of money, but I digress.

Theres a difference between slice of life anime and this, believe me, slice of life is one of my favourite genres of anime, I dont think this can be classed as such seeing as its not at all like life at all. I look at it as a comedy, and one that I don't find particularly funny.

Yeah, I'd prefer if they left it open-ended, it would be quite frustrating but not as bad as some crappy made up one I guess. I just don't understand why they don't wait till a manga is finished to make an adaptation of it, or at least talk to the mangaka and let them tell them how to end it...

We heard you the first time dear. :D I agree somewhat but theres something lacking about the anime in my opinion, somethings just not right, I think its that it should be way more atmospheric than its currently being, but we shall see in the coming episodes no doubt.

Ugh, yeah same here, the Bokurano manga is a masterpiece as far as I'm concerned, allthough the GONZO adaptation hasn't started to suck just yet, im pretty sure its only a matter of time, especially once its starts to get deeper into the story, theres definetly some stuff they'll be cutting out...

Exactly the same with me, If i wanted to listen to schoolgirls talking about food then I'd go into a school cafeteria, but I don't, so I won't, and I probably won't ever watch this again. I enjoy comedy anime's a hell of a lot, but I just didn't really find Lucky Star to be particularly funny.

Pretty much all of Welcome to the NHK was a let down for me, after being a huge fan of the manga I thought the anime was terrible, badly animated, badly adapted, mind you thats pretty much what GONZO does, f*cks good manga up.

Meh, thats just fanservice at the end of the day. I dont really dislike any Fanbase particularly, I can't really have a go at Naruto fans seeing as I used to be somewhat of a 'Narutard' myself. I think the only people that sort of irritate me in anime fandom are the people that pick random...
