    Gamer Entitlement, One Year Later

I agree. Back in the day, if we didn't like something about a game, we just shrugged, maybe went "meh", and carried on, because the game was what it was and nothing was going to change it. I think this problem is more prevalent in PC gaming than console gaming.

Nice. Seems like they are stating this to try and deter the US from action against them. Hopefully it will work, and no war will break out.

    Annual conventions in southern England?

http://www.minamicon.org.uk/ Best convention in the UK. Also the only one in the south, I think. All the others tend to be in university campuses in the north.

    What did you RECEIVE today?

(Saturday) A new job, so I can quit the one I hate. The pay is 33% higher per hour too, and offers more hours. Would also be working with a higher quality of coworker; at my old job people fit into three categories: -people who can't get jobs elsewhere because their English is mediocre to poor...

I'm sure they do some of that too, but we're by far the worst offenders. Aside from the UK, the most notable instance of this is France with the 'Common Agricultural Policy', which I recall benefited them a great deal more than the rest of the EU, and was something the UK took issue with...

To be honest, I don't blame Europe for thinking we're a bunch of imperialist dickheads. Look at how our elected representatives behave on issues pertaining to Europe; they're all about our interests only, with no though as to what can be gained from cooperation and compromise.

Of course Scotland would be better remaining part of the UK, and the UK as a whole is better for having Scotland remain a part of it. I don't blame them for considering leaving though; as far as the UK is concerned, England is really letting the side down. Just put the Scottish government and...

The only good thing in that budget is the one thing the Lib Dems were insisting upon; the £10,000 personal allowance.

    Have you ever...?

No, and I've eaten hotter things than anyone else here. My mouth was turned to magma though, and my bowels, while reliable, felt like they were excreting magma. Have you ever booked holiday from work just so when you hand your notice in that week you can leave immediately, your notice period...

    Have you ever...?

No, although I did work experience in a factory that designs and builds the ones the MoD use. Have you ever been on a luxury cruise?

Bit bold to suggest that the PS4 is heading that way, considering how little is known about it. Care to elaborate?

Yes; after finishing work early through illness, I went shopping in town. Someone saw me. I said I was getting medicine. It worked. Have you ever dialled 999?

The Wii U Thread (Including NNIDs)!

F-Zero on Wii U would work so well, with the gamepad screen as a vehicle's dashboard/HUD. I'd like that.

    Have you ever...?

I looked at my legs just now, and they're the first and last legs I'll ever have, so yes. Have you ever looked up the FB/LJ/etc of an ex partner, hoping to see that they were miserable?
