I don't mind video game expos but anime expos don't do it for me. Seeing as my aim was socialising on this occasion, a con does indeed fit that requirement much better.

Not bothering to follow this game. MVC2 was fun but unbalanced as hell, everyone pretty much tier-whored because the top tier characters made a godly combo. Seeing characters like Dante is nice for MVC3, but until the game comes out and I see how balanced the it turns out to be.

I ignore news like this because 90% of the time, the film just stays in limbo before or during production - the Halo and Metal Gear Solid movies being one of many examples.

Tickets are £6.00 if you buy early, or £8.00 at the entrance, which seems quite reasonable to me. I'd pay £8.00 for a monthly anime/manga club meeting, so I hope they make it a regular thing as soon as they can.
