It's another case of being in a separate tier, so it kind of is an increase if you want access but isn't affecting the base CR subs. Also afaik there's nothing exclusive here, rather than licensing things like the old CR manga did, everything is sublicensed from someone else.

Good that more manga is available legally, but another case of "You'll own nothing and you'll be happy"?

You need to pay a supplement on Mega Fan tier or be on Ultimate(which is the same price) to get access.

Scummy for a relaunched service that used to be included in the standard subscription before they originally closed it.

I don't think it was in the standard subscription; I remember I used to pay more for it when it first launched in its previous form. They may have rolled it in down the line, but it was definitely additional cost at some point.

Definitely in the standard sub, they hadn't tiered them yet. Was paying €40 for a 1 year sub at the time.

You had to have the all-access tier or manga members sub. Back then they had options for Anime, Free Membership, Drama (which I didn't remember existed until looking now), and the all-access which combined Anime, Drama and Manga (when it launched) into one.

Free users, and non-manga members will only be able to read the latest chapters with ads until the next chapter is simulpubbed. Manga members will have access to all manga including catalog titles. Crunchyroll Manga is included free with a Crunchyroll All-Access membership.
