After decades in development hell, this finally got made.

I like that it's sticking to the design language of the original cartoon, but overall the teaser makes it look decent rather than great. The writers and director haven't delivered a dud yet, so I'm hopeful this should at least be an entertaining couple of hours. It's stimulated my nostalgia gland enough for me to go see it.

Biggest questions on my mind now are: how much of the movie is set on Earth vs Eternia (hopefully a better split than in the 80s movie), how late in the movie will Adam become He-Man, and what is Jared Leto's Skeletor voice going to sound like?

I can't remember if this has been mentioned before, but Guyver: Dark Hero is getting a UK blu-ray release on 7th September from a new label called Toy Robot Video.

The image quality looks heavily processed in places. Maybe just DNR, but a few of the facial close-ups are setting off my AI upscale alarm. I might be wrong though; I'm no expert.
