Thanks for jogging my memory that I have a plastic bottle of water that I put in the freezer yesterday guys happily anticipates the drinking of much icy cold water as I pour it in around the big chunk of ice in the bottle to cool it :)

I'm having bad luck this week for some reason.

I found out what the problem was it was loose loose connection so its working again so the motherboard is fine lol i order a newmotherboard as well 😅 that i don't but I i will keep it as a back up just in case.

The most my buddy and I ever spent on concert tickets was $250 each after waiting 30 years to finally see Jean Michel Jarre during his Electronica tour, in Philadelphia 10 years ago, but that price was for front row seats so we were sitting less than 20 feet away from him playing his Laser Harp. What an experience!

A few years before that we paid $175 each for tickets to see Roger Water's The Wall Tour, at another venue in Philadelphia. That was quite the sight to see too, them building that giant wall across the arena during the concert, and it come crashing down at the end.

So yeah, my mother finally passed away on Wednesday, July 1; she was 83. My brother and I have been getting all the necessary arrangements done for her funeral next Friday. I was so used to her being there in her bedroom and having her aids in the house with us all day long, and now her bedroom is empty, the house is quiet, and I'll be all by myself now. It's back to being a bachelor pad after six years of having my elderly parents living with me here. 😢

Heartbreaking news. Considering all the posts where you mentioned what she thought of the shows you watched together, she was like an unofficial member of the forums.

Good luck with the preparations for the funeral.

Unfortunately I'll also be losing a decent chunk of income my mother was contributing for household expenses each month, so I will really need to cut way back on any excess expenses now. I will no longer be able to make nearly as many anime Blu-rays purchases each month, but that is probably a good thing anyway, with me still needing to build at least 2 more shelving units to store all the anime I have piled up with no shelves to store them on. My collection is more than big enough now.

I'm sorry for your loss, I know what it's like losing your Mother so my heart goes out to you.
