Ah yes, I love my 40 mile drive to the Trafford Centre to see literally anything AL distribute. (I know it's not entirely on them but it is always frustrating nevertheless)

On a positive note, finally managed to get a not overpriced copy of Perfect Blue 4K from the stock AL clawed back from Amazon. On the downside for anyone else who was after it; I seem to have grabbed the last copy.

I don’t think I’ll get it but my dream would be a Digimon Adventure Ultimate edition. All the usual bells and whistles plus the sub and dub releases of the season and movies.

Tbf, Crunchy acquired the rights from Toho. So when they expire we can expect a very nice AL 4K set I’m sure.

My TV mystery boxes were dispatched this Thursday and contained exactly the same items as those delivered in December. They’ve been completely upfront with their logistics issues (if not completely timely) and whether that’s an issue for you is entirely fair but anything else is just people...

Looking at my delivery and thinking ‘man, I really hope Lime did their usual top tier job of packaging this stuff 😬’

It’s 300 copies. Can never have too much Big Order. (This is a lie, 1 copy of Big Order is too many)

My replacement Frieren LE just arrived after Rarewaves lost the first. Yodel + just rawdogging the set straight into a cardboard box is not a great combo. Not sure I’d use them again, certainly not for an LE.

My point was that since the stock is already allocated to mystery boxes once the sale starts, it is incredibly unlikely that they’ve oversold. If a series and sequel has been removed from the store completely then it’s far more likely they’ve lost the licence.

Nah, as I understand it they set a stock amount beforehand to avoid this (issues like Amazon’s Perfect Blue hoarding notwithstanding) As a sidenote; trying to checkout with 100 of an item in your basket is always a good gauge of stock levels.

As this week closes, I’m still in the running. The tension is palpable.

Just out of interest, did AL ever comment on why the Great Pretender CE is so big? 4 discs in 4 full size amaray cases seems completely unnecessary and makes the whole set like 40% bigger than it needs to be.

Funnily enough, I got my dispatch for this earlier in the day. So I’m just going to assume it was you shaking a courier on my behalf.
