The Whisperer in Darkness (2011) I missed yesterdays movie as I was catching up on other things. Whisperer in Darkness based on the Story by H.P. Lovecraft is made by the same director and crew that did the awesome Call of Cthulhu adaptation I reviewed the other day. Well this is a movie of...

The Call of Cthulhu (2005) Bit late posting this one. Ok this movie is great, this is an almost perfect adaptation of the original story, I have read the short story multiple times over at this point and can confidently say that almost all of the story beats follow the original written work...

Nosferatu (1922) Very old silent movie (unauthorized) adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula. Sobering to think the cast and crew of this movie passed away of old age before I was even born, quite a period piece. The movie was good, very atmospheric if slightly goofy by today's standards with all...

I am starting my month long Halloween movie watchathon with the internet meme of 2026. Backrooms (2026) from A24, rented on Amazon Prime It was ok, this is the debut film of an amateur director and I think it shows. The concept of the Backrooms as a creepypasta probably doesn't lend itself...

Dang, if only their delivery service wasn't terrible and they had proper packaging. I stopped using them years ago as I never got anything that wasn't beaten up

Yikes, they will be selling that data. Personally I would return it on those grounds.

I wonder if this uses the Aniplex discs?

+1 for Chibi Godzilla

I have that edition so I am good then.

Hmm what's the difference between this one and the previous release (besides it being a steelbook) I wonder?

I have it, it looks very similar to the Season 1 box set except yellow

A reminder for me to watch my season 1 set I got in the last sale. Might pre-order this if I enjoy it

I'm a millennial and I've been enjoying it too lol.

Someone beat them to it I guess. Kamen Rider's latest season's been licensed and is currently airing on Youtube with english subs.

I'm not above a bit of fan service but I don't think I would buy a show that is only about that. I will watch em on Crunchyroll or similar though.
