The font and overall outline shape is ugly. No antialiasing, no round edges. In 2024 customers should rightfully expect more than VobSub on Blu-ray.

Different strokes for different folks, I suppose. I find the VIZ subtitles easier to read as I sit a fair distance from my TV (my TV is 55") and I find them easier on my eyes...
