Occult Academy
Finished.
As I often find, a pretty good start then gets a bit boring but at episode 10/11 picks up. Mainly due to the Dark Mage. An interesting and complex character.
Roduko's Bad Girls
Finished.
Strong start but sadly began to drag.
I enjoyed the last few episodes. Not just...
The Shadows Edge
Oh no, the police can't catch a master fugitive with all their super duper AI surveillance stuff.
What will we do? We're forced to get that old guy we retired because he's old school.
What's his name, again?
JACKIE CHAN.
With Tony Leung. No not that one, the other one.
I'm guessing your post was rhetorical, however from a personal POV
I like the price point compared to other formats.
I'm happy with the picture quality.
Often neither Blu-ray or DVDs have extras.
DVDs outsell the other formats by volume.
To The Abandoned Sacred Beasts
Episode 1 started well with fighting. 2 went to flashback mode and dragged. I don't like the daughter character.
Liza Runecastle seems an interesting and complex person who might keep my interest.
Why was I not surprised her voice actor is Yoko Hikasa.
As much as I love Kill la Kill, at that price I'll stick with my regular DVDs.
Although, I think I own part 2 as a CE type of thing on top of 3 standards so that's are far as I want to go.
Support Nudist Beach in their fight.👻
All the Anime
The Promised Neverland
Saw it via lovefim but don't own a copy.
Luckily, I had done no research so I didn't know who the bad guys were.
To The Abandoned Sacred Beasts
Never seen, always fancied. It's got Mamiko Noto. Hope it's not got too much drama.
Akame Ga Kill
Watched it...
Yeah, very lucky. Imagine if I didn't like Realist 🥴.
I'm actually about to finish a Realist Hero rewatch. I started when I ordered the CD so I wouldn't be tempted to open it.
Finished Genius Prince again recently.
Some new stuff.
Amusingly (to me) when I ordered Realist Hero, I thought I was buying Genius Prince. I love both shows.
Both the CE's were bought as I only have the DVDs and they have more extras than normal. I've even got sellotape and a map which looks very similar to the world of Genius Prince.
It seemed more amusing to me to cryptic.
Edit 8th September to get my posts on topic before I upset too many folk.
Bought Monstrum as I finally figured out the title after seeing the trailer 2 years ago and forgetting the name.
Monster v swords in Korea.
