Well isn't that thoughtful of you.
Actually, much like over here, anime in Japan is still seen as a kids thing. Sure there's a bunch of "creepy otaku" types that are a bit fanatical about some shows but the majority of watchers are still young.
Oh I can agree with that but they do take...
Heaven forbid shows actually feature people around the same age as their target demographic.
The bold part is pretty funny because it's actually doing exactly what people accuse moe fans of, judging a series based on appearances.
Strike Witches in the UK? Oh that would cause a huge fuss.
I think I remember reading something about Beez looking into if it was possible to license Index and Railgun so unless I'm getting them mixed up with Manga then I'm hoping one of them is a possibility.
Meh, that's what I get for not reading properly. The moment someone mentions Ghibli my attention span usually dies.
Ah well, at least no one lost their job.
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only guy who can't stand Studio Ghibli and their style, I'm not fussed what happens here either way although I can't see them closing down. If anything the whole thing screams publicity stunt to me.
'tf Manga, and here I was expecting One Piece or Highschool of the Dead.
Ah well I can't complain, it's likely to sell well and that's good for the industry.
I'm hoping for High School Of The Dead too, likely too since I seem to remember reading that Manga were interested in it. One Piece or DBZ Kai would be nice but I won't hold my breath.
The following have my attention, mainly the ones in bold though
Soredemo Machi Wa Mawatteiru
Hyakka ryoran Samurai Girls
Otome Youkai Zakuro
Yosuga No Sora
MM!
Fortune Arterial
