It's been a bad year for me and Cineworld, I have been cheating on it quite often because they don't show Anime Limited releases anymore! I'm trying to go for 80 films this in the cinema this year but I'm only at 66 so it's looking unlikely. Although, with the Vue shutting down here next month...

The membership is a good strategy, the Cameo would be my nearest picturehouse - not that it is particularly close at over three hours away lol. They do have good deals on memberships but nothing really beats unlimited. £12.99 a month and 35 films with unlimited this year, I've been slacking.

It's pretty ridiculous in Edinburgh at this point. I think I costed out that three days in London (including BA flights) were cheaper than trains to Edinburgh and an equivalent hotel. Plus the additional cinema costs over Glasgow, I like the Cameo but not £12 a ticket like.

The "Robots in London" Strand (working title) was also by Kambole Campbell, which was better - although any festival strand showing Promare will get my approval. I really liked this year's festival - I didn't have much of an opinion either way going in to it but I thought the competition films...

I think the one in Glasgow is massive but not the best quality. Never been to a 'proper' IMAX, so what you don't know can't harm you 😉

Hanners said on the Discord that they are prioritising pre-orders that were coming out (Perfect Blue & Cyberpunk off the top of my head), these should be almost all done at this point so hopefully it's not that much longer.

Elysian released Princess Mononoke in IMAX in August, I was lucky to be able to catch it at the Science Centre in Glasgow and it was fantastic. Although, aside from the large screen, I don't see the reason for the releases being in IMAX. IMAX is very inaccessible for me, with the nearest being...

I'm not typically a fan of sports stuff but I enjoyed it. It's all centered around a single match and there's not anything you need to know going in to it.

Found a copy of Eureka Seven Hi Evolution 3: Eureka at CeX. Can't be that much longer to go now, although how it's ended up there is anyone's guess. Full English on the back with "English and Japanese Dub" but I'm weary of spoilers and I'm not sure how to upload spoiler-ed images 😆

It's kinda a gamble with CeX unless you're buying in person. In my experience, I've got all the bits significantly more often than not, and generally in good condition. Sometimes standards and CEs are listed under the same item so it can be a gamble which one arrives, but it's easy to return...

yeah everything was about the same time, 4:40~4:45ish. Most of the deals have gone 'live' around that time so it might be worth keeping an eye out a bit earlier
