Same with Crime Story & Heart Of Dragon 4K's then also went for Rosa, Saga Of the Phoenix, and Over Your Dead Body.
Fingers crossed they actually put the Jackie 4Ks aside until mid Dec as they've sold out now!
Wasn't planning on making an order in the sale but when I realised you could use it on preorders, even though they said you couldn't, I went crazy 🤦♂️
Need that extra time as their staff are protesting and refusing to work after they fired a bunch of people for trying to start a union 🤦♂️
They can take as long as it takes so it doesn't launch like that crapfest Cyberpunk 2077!!!
Wouldn't say the Studio4°C request is out of nowhere, especially considering Gkids just announced they have 'All You Need Is Kill' and they seem to partner with AL quite a bit.
(My feelings on the choice of art style for that particular story are another matter though....)
I'll take your 7 years and raise you, I bought the Funimation DVD in 2006 and still haven't gotten past the halfway point 😅
I think after nearly 20 years I'm officially going to have to move it to my 'dropped' pile on MAL.
Picked up the Patlabor films in the sale, still tempted by Jujutsu Kaisen but I've got to know!
Has AL ever give any kind of explanation as to why their release is the only one in the world (I can find anyway) that has the crazy temu bootleg looking logo instead of the official one?!?!?!
I think we're at the point now where labels should be realising it's the collectors who are keeping them alive and if they don't own a warehouse purely for physical media storage maybe stop doing these stupid oversized editions!!!
If its a case of something the size of 5-10 vinyls stacked...
I'm waiting for Rarewaves to do their monthly 10% off before ordering, especially after both the official Arrow site AND Amazon flubbed the release of The Good, The Bad and The Ugly 4K.
