So Crunchyroll did send me a replacement unit, rather than just a new base. Don't really need a spare of the perspex, so if there is anyone out there who would like this new lamp (with a replacement base that doesn't have a remote sensor, but you could always buy one of those on eBay for a fiver), PM me with an offer.
Update. I suppose I should put a price on it, to make it easier. Does £25 (inc UK postage) sound fair (they were $35 each on the Kickstarter)?
