Today I saw My Neighbor Totoro at the cinema. I watched it to death back in the 90s and early 2000s when I had a VHS copy of the pre-Disney sub that I recorded off of Sky TV. Haven't watched it since then. I was excited to see a subtitled showing at my local indie cinema. Exactly as wonderful as I remember it to be.

Finally finished Sorcerous Stabber Orphen season 2: Happily, they got rid of most of the serious stuff and the first 80% of the series was just the main characters bitching about one another while wandering the land. I got confused by the episode when the trolls tried to go to the moon, as earlier episodes had showed two moons in the sky (apparently locked in synchronous orbit). Traditional apocalyptic finale. Some fun outtakes from the old ADV gang in the extras. No-one cares about extras anymore, do they?
Read a fair amount of manga while busy, including Invaders of the Rokujyouma (the first six volumes are very close to the anime series, so I'm about to enter new territory) and The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter (light and fluffy fun with big sexual overtones and a creepy kid sister we could do without).
Now the hell that is August is out of the way, I can get back to binging some of the backlog.
Read a fair amount of manga while busy, including Invaders of the Rokujyouma (the first six volumes are very close to the anime series, so I'm about to enter new territory) and The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter (light and fluffy fun with big sexual overtones and a creepy kid sister we could do without).
