@HWR You know Baki is the 3rd season right? I guess it might be like DBZ where you can still enjoy it without watching DB first. Hell, I watched the 2nd season of Working! by accident, thinking it was the first one and gave it a 9/10...

Yeah I watched the older seasons years ago when a friend recommended Baki to me back in Sixth Form. Watching this new series recently refreshed my memory a bit and I may go back to the older seasons or read the manga too at some point.

Are you on Season 1 or 2?

If Season 2 There are some really good Roselia Live shows on youtube I highly recommend you check out. I dont think they're spoilers but put this behind a spoiler tag as Roselia is introduced S1E1 IIRC

Talk about tonal whiplash. It's nice that it doesn't look to be taking the easy way out of things, but really that could have been handled a bit better.

The Rising of the Shield Hero ep 16
Aaand another "hey Shield Hero, go talk to the other Heroes" character appears. Well, characters always talking past one another was a feature of the LN too. That said, it's still a reasonable watch.

Just the Blu-rays aha. The only DB series on my top 10 is OG DB in 7th!

I just have a massive weakness when it comes to merch that is DB related!
 
Gintama (Season 1) episodes 1-2 - Yeah I don't really do long running shonen but I thought I'd make an exception here. First two episodes were fun. I'll keep it to at least 1 episode a day for a steady pace seeing as there's 367 to get through.

BanG Dream! episodes 1-13 (Complete. Some familiar setups and character archetypes but with a nice atmosphere that made it enjoyable to watch and the cast made a band worth rooting for. Onto season 2 next.) 3.5/5
 
One Punch Man 2 Ep 3 - are you tryna rob me?

shield hero ep 16 - the fight weren't bad, but steeping it in CGI made it abit ugly.
And I can't help but think this could be a perfect ad for a certain fast food chain specialising in poultry...

I was really looking forward to this but why did they have to set it in a school? The original four shows are some of the only anime where you don't really see schools. I don't get the appeal.

Haven't seen it yet and plan to watch (if only the probable fact that I'm part of the axis religion - you'll have to sign this to find out!)
Most Male protagonists that get isekai'd are either high school age or are very familiar with the trope, the only one I wouldn't think gets the trope is Tanya, she worked in HR and only cared about efficiency, the only one that isn't some otaku/nerd like the others

Which makes it a part of their backstory but not the anime itself. By that logic even Tanya is familiar with it as is Ains but it doesn't really fit with them still.

Episodes 4-14
I was wondering why Episodes 14 and 15 were 90min long rather than the 24-ish of normal episodes.

14 needed it and I'm expecting the final Episode 15 is going to be pretty good so looking forward to it... Likely tomorrow as its 12:30 now :)
