Probably one of the shortest opening credits for a show which has them, turning into a good series, bit of light comedy mixed with a bit of "baddie of the week" for some of the episodes.

I assume the character which pops up after the "next episode" section is the original author pen-picture

Woodpecker Detective’s Office episode 5 I’m beginning to get a little wary of this series due to a lack of likeable characters and a repetitive feel from the plots each episode.

A good ending in that it rounds everything up. A good series, next up will be the follow up "J2, The Counteraction of Siberia Yagyu"

Clone Wars complete
The final season was great. The first 4 epsiodes were exception. The final 4 were a fitting dramatic, cinematic end to the show. It really was stunning to watch. The middle 4 seemed an odd choice of story to tell for the final season. I still really enjoyed them but they weren't as good as the others.

Better than the first series as the storyline is longer and has the same baddies throughout

Watched this episode on its own due to the hype around Super Cub but I wasn't quite prepared for it to be this good! This episode has established Toshiro Fujii as one of my favourite directors and for good reason. Fujii crafted such a beautiful episode with such an emotionally devastating ending while also working on script, storyboard, design, Chief AD and some animation.

Really looking forward to his work on Super Cub!

Armored Trooper Votoms episodes 41-52 (Complete. A decent series with some distinct arcs that offered their own styles and settings, from gritty cities to dense jungles and then to space. Not sure why there was a pair of Lord Farquard lookalikes though but there we go. Looking forward to seeing what the OVAs offer.) 3.5/5
