One Punch Man s2 eps 0 & 1
0 was a narrated recap. I didn't see too much wrong with the first episode, but it wasn't quite up to season 1 standards though in a few ways.

A decent first episode, but all that CGI tho... Ughh.

Strike Witches: 501st Joint Fighter Wing Take Off! Episode 1
This was an OK first episode, it'll be interesting to see where this goes.

YU-NO: A girl who chants love at the bound of this world Episode 2
Well this just a lot more interesting.
 
Ace Attorney 2nd Season (Dub) episode 44 The plot thickens and the curry stains.

Black Clover episode 78 Charmy is the highlight of this arc.

One Punch Man 2nd Season episode 1 Saitama is back.

Isekai Quartet ep 1
Eh, a setting up ep. Amusing, but nothing more.

Cinderella Nine ep 1
The character designs here remind me of a slightly more mature-looking High School Fleet. The feel of the show, too. Which is nice because I liked High School Fleet quite a lot. Considering I'm not expecting anything from a mobile game adaptation this was a competent first ep.

Fairy Gone ep 1
I mean, what are you likely to get from a first ep? They generally spend themselves setting things up. This didn't exactly inspire me nor leave me disappointed either.

Dealing with a corrupted noble and a rescue mission. Just another day in the life of being the Shield Hero.

Wise Man's Granchild (English Dub) Episode 1
Pretty good first episode, though this was giving me a lot of Smartphone vibes.

The Helpful Fox Senko-san Episode 1
This was a decent first episode. Looks like this is going to be a fun show.
 
The Rising of the Shield Hero episode 14 Raphtalia confronts a threatening face from her past.

Ace of Diamond episodes 64-75 (Complete. This was fun to binge and seeing the team develop their skills, work together and then inevitably lose and have to build themselves back up was good, if at times predictable, viewing.

There were nuances here and there that I appreciated too, especially in the aftermath of a major setback for the team. Looks like I’m set for the second season so I can catch up with the season currently airing at the moment.) 3.5/5

Felt like nearly all the best skits were in part one, but it’s nice to see PTE again anyway.

Samurai Champloo ep11-13

Halfway through already. I don’t have much to say about it from one episode to the next at the moment - it’s much more ‘monster of the week’ than the initial setup lead me to believe, but it’s still very enjoyable.

Neon Genesis Evangelion ep22-24 [rewatch]

Given how popular Kaoru seems to have become subsequently, it’s actually surprising to see how little screen time he had in the original show. I also didn’t remember there being any scenes between his death and the beginning of instrumentality - I would have just assumed that triggered it immediately. I suppose the abrupt shift into that probably underscores how crazy the production had become by this time.

Whenever I take a step back from it, I feel this gets a bit silly at times, but it's nothing if not compelling and it's certainly going to places I wasn't expecting.

That was pretty funny, actually. Makes me realise I kinda missed the Strike Witches cast.

Hey, that was surprisingly good in a silly way. Also, based on that opening animation... gasp, does the MC have a singular love interest? In MY generic light novel adaptation?!
 
Land of the Lustrous episodes 7-12 [Rewatch/End] - Damn this is more depressing on a rewatch. The visuals and soundtrack are still outstanding and prove it to be one of my favourite series of 2017. Sales were pretty great so hopefully a season 2 isn't too far off. 9/10

Kinmoza! episodes 1-3 - Another promising Kirara series!

Sarazanmai episode 1 - Yeah definitely an Ikuhara series. Looking forward to being thoroughly confused by this one.
