Bermuda Triangle: Colourful Pastrale episode 9 Making a film beneath the sea.

ENDRO! episode 9 Adorably derpy beings.

Fairy Tail: Final Season episode 299 “Love is stronger than magic” pretty much sums up how half the fights in FT seem to be won.

Grimms Notes: The Animation episode 9 You know what this story needed? A CGI Genie played by Will Smith.

Kaguya-Sama: Love is War episode 9 Rain and cards, as well as a difficult situation to explain.

Grimms Notes The Animation Episode 9
They're finally takling a tale from the Arabian Nights.

Kaguya-Sama: Love is War Episode 9
First half was pretty decent, Fujiwara "literally" got caught with hand in the cookie jar. Second half though was amusing, especially with the entire home visit segment.

Katana Maidens: Mini Toji Episode 9
Festival fun.

Sword Art Online Alicization Episode 21
Another solid episode with a new OP. The entire fight though was good, but it did feel a bit Bleach-esc. Honestly... that minister, just how much of a f*****g sleazeball can he be.

W'z Episode 10

School Idol
Spec-Ops Asuka ep 9
The tonal whiplash of this episode is strong, even more so if you compare it to the last one. The sections with Tamara and her plushy and the non-serious Tabira bits in particular. Really doesn't make for the best viewing.

SAO: Alicization ep 21
Damit, at least in the light novels the fact that Administrator was naked the entire time was something you could sort of forget. It just makes most of her scenes feel slightly awkward in the anime. Oh well, at least there was a decent fight scene in this ep.
While I do appreciate updated OPs, I'm surprised by how much they're spoiling in the new OP animation to be honest. One of the biggest twists is right there, particularly when taking into account the title of the next ep.

The Magnificent Kotobuki ep 9
I feel like a lot happened in this episode and I didn't understand all of it. Just a vague sense of advancing evil plans and the "good guys" getting pushed back. And some soul-searching.
Not that it was a bad episode. I'm just dumb sometimes.

Manaria Friends ep 8
The early episodes kinda tainted this show a bit for me. This episode was half decent but I still found myself instinctively disliking it.

Super Dimension Fortress Macross episodes 31-36 [End] - I'm kinda surprised at how much I like this. I guess the best way of describing it would be genuine as it definitely felt like series creator Shoji Kawamori was really invested in this story. The series was just so fun with a ridiculous but hopeful story, well timed comedy, a memorable cast of characters and some unexpected twists along the way. Animation wise it's definitely a series of it's time but it still holds up well enough. The music was also key with a memorable soundtrack and insert songs. Though the series may have lost steam past episode 27 it was still good to see character arcs resolved nicely. 8/10
I now have 37 years worth of Macross to get through so this should be a long ride.

Macross: Do You Remember Love? [Film] - A reinterpretation of the first 27 episodes. While the story lacks a lot of the charm of the original it makes up for it with the higher quality animation and art design. The scene featuring the titular song is definitely one of my favourite moments in the series thus far. It's definitely a case of the film doing certain aspects better while faltering at others. 8/10

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations episode 97 A pretty fun episode. Can’t believe the series is almost at 100 episodes now.

How Clumsy you are, Miss Ueno episode 10 False alarms and leg hair.

Mysteria Friends episode 8 Comfy stuff.

The Magnificent Kotobuki episode 9 Another entertaining episode, with a sense of threat on the horizon.

K-ON!! (Rewatch) episodes 20-21, 25, 22, The movie, 26, 23-24 [watched chronologically] & Ura-On!/!! shorts (Complete. Just as much fun as the first season, with a fun movie and shorts to compliment it. I’m pretty sure I didn’t watch one or two of the bonus episodes the first time around too.) 4.5/5 (Series), 4/5 (Movie)

Mysteria Friends episode 8
Wasn't at all impressed this week.

Boogiepop and Others episode 15
Preferred the previous arc but see how it finishes.

Mangirl episodes 7-13(complete)
Not the best but at 3:30 per episode it was a fun pallet cleanser.

Domestic Girlfriend episodes 1-5
Watched this on the recommendation of a few of the others on here and liked it a lot more than I expected to.

Mad Scientist
Little Witch Academia eps 21-25 (complete)
I really enjoyed this final arc of the series as things were revealed and then everything from before came together in that signature Trigger way in a crescendo.
Overall it's a joyous and at some points emotional series with a variety of good characters. The main character, Akko, is enthusiastic and determined, although sometimes this comes of as selfish and stubborn, but overall I liked her.
The plot has the usual build to a high point in the end that Trigger (I'm including Gurren Lagann in this) is so good at usually (let's ignore FranXX which seemed to dip after the halfway point and then remembered it was a Trigger show and overshot itself trying to get back on correct trajectory!) Although in the case of LWA the start point was much more low key.
Art and animation were bright and colourful, making the magic come alive. And the music was very good as well.

Mad Scientist
Binged much of what amazon has for karakuri Circus and got deep into it 😂 up to ep 20 now... I wonder why I like it past a certain number of episodes
Karakuri has a raki, spot the raki. Seriously though he’s more important to the deeper plot

The claymore are warriors that slay yoma monsters and are ostracised for what they really are
The shirogane are warriors that slay automata monsters and are afraid of being ostracised for what they really are

The claymore belong to a nameless, shady organisation that treat them like trash
The shirogane belong to a nameless organisation capable of breeding corruption that treats many of its members like trash (albeit this is of their own making)

The claymore are all varying shades of blonde, white or silver hair, have silver eyes and are immortal, they can also heal some mortal wounds
The shirogane have silver hair, silver eyes age five times slower than humans and can heal some mortal wounds

Clare is driven by revenge to destroy Priscilla, one of the most powerful awakened beings that has ever existed
All shirogane are initially driven by a sense of vengeance from bae Jin to destroy the original creator of the automata, doll Francine

Them twists though... is karakuri just claymore with jojo refrences?

Anyway, got back to the Konosuba dub for ep 5 😂
