Recently Sony unveiled a press conference in South Korea that unveiled a whole bunch of games developed for the PlayStation 4 (and other devices like PC or Mobile). One of the games announced around that time is a little game called White Day.

White Day is a horror game that follows a student who goes to his school at night to present a gift to a girl he has a crush on but things turn for the worse when various horrific events start happening. The upcoming PlayStation 4 VR game is in fact a remake of a cult classic 2000 PC game called White Day: A Labyrinth Named School which has been described by many to be the scariest horror game that they have ever played, even scarier than Amnesia. The original has since ended up as abandonware due to short sales and limited release but now it's coming back as a full-fledged remake.

Someone over at NeoGAF have done a good writeup on the original game.

No details on an international release for the PlayStation version but I have a feeling it might happen someday. The game is currently a console exclusive to Sony as it's also heading to Mobile (which is confirmed for international release with an English dub) as well as PC.

UPDATE:

Some gameplay of the Mobile version here:
