where are the old topics/threads?

i was searching for an old thread i made a very loong time ago and i was extensively searching the forums using the search feature for almost 20 minutes and i couldnt find it anywhere.

the thread was called something among the lines of ''show us your anime/manga/video game collection''

(i think another person has also made a similair thread like mine, some lon gtime after)

i was just wondering where did these two threads go?

do threads automatically delete after a set time?

Yes. If they are dead for something like 3 months then they are automatically pruned. I switched this feature on during last year as the forum was slowing down due to the high level of posts.
