Voltron live action adaptation

The Hollywood Reporter website has revealed that a big-budget film of the 1980's mecha series Voltron is in the works. The story is set to be based on the plot of the original anime TV series following five pilots on their travels through space. The movie is being produced by veteran producer Mark Gordon.

Voltron used to be one of my all-time favourites!!! I can't wait for the film. I hope it's got the Lion robots instead of the vehicle ones :roll:

The only thing I ever knew about Voltron was that my cousin had the toys, those Lion robots were so cool.
