I believe the European consoles are identical in terms of hardware and firmware, though probably set to a different default system language. I'd be surprised if it didn't work.

On a PS3 the default country code should be USA, even on Japanese consoles. If that's not the case on a Swedish PS3, you can easily change country code through Settings -> Security Setting -> BD/DVD - Parental Control Region Code

Besides, the US blurays are already confirmed playable on B

Unfortunately it is region locked to A only, I can confirm (it's a decent set).

You'll need a multi-region player or a imported Region A player to play the region locked discs like Code Geass. Basically any title from Discotek Media or Funimation that state Region A only are for the most part region locked (and won't be playable on Region B players or European games consoles). If it's not on the list on the first post then chances are it's region locked if that helps.

Titles from Sentai Filmworks, Maiden Japan or SoftCel Pictures released from 2015 onwards are the only ones that are geo-locked. Aniplex and Japanese Anime Blu-rays are region free.

As far as I know, Tamako Market is supposed to be a geolocked title and it works just fine on my swedish PS4.
