The .... How you find a girlfriend Thread

Armitage

Completely Average High School Student
Hey, i am total new in this area (Boness, (Falkirk)).
I wonder how i can find here a Girlfriend..hmm..
Maybe someone have ideas for it?

Greetings

This is your first post on a forum about anime? I don't want to seem negative but you might as well have made your username TROLL. If it's true or not doesn't matter, that's how it will be percieved.

I mean, who in their right minds looks to otakus for help finding a girlfriend? :?

Is it really Troll? i did not know that. I watch anime since 16 yeahrs and i watch almost only animes. Maybe i am a otaku i dont know. Most of my friends the like animes have Girl Friends so i think there is no Rule like Otaku = No GF. Ahh and i am in other forums but they are not for this area.
And because i am new here and i have no ideas i ask Serious for ideas to find a GF. I was in the Pub but Pubs are.. Full with drunken people and the most time older people as me.

I'm calling ********.

Though at the risk of feeding the trolls...

I find dropping your pants in areas heavily populated with woman works a charm, especially if you don't shower for a few weeks beforehand.

Go get 'em tiger.

Dude, if you're an Otaku (and admitting it) you won't get a girlfriend since Otakus are some of the most socially inept people around.

Going outside and meeting people does wonders ya' know.

What the hell is this?????????????? over the past month I have seen how to get a girl type thread on 4 different forums I visit and Athenewins youtube channel. In fact warcraft replays is putting up an audio soon on how to get girls...............A warcraft site??? lol

It seems to be a craze going round the internet at the moment.

And for the record I do know anime fans with girlfreinds.(and the other way round for that matter)

Just be yourself (i.e. don't hang out in pubs if you hate them), don't hurry it and worry about being single but try to get out there and meet more people. And when you do meet girls, act normally to them. Some guys seem to see a girl and ten seconds later declare eternal love for them. That's creepy. Just be friends and learn about one another and if it looks like it's going to go anywhere, go with it.

Joining some clubs relating to your hobbies is a good way to meet more people with similar outlooks.

Well, i had some GFs in my life maybe i am not a full Otaku.
I am not british i did not know that people here react in this way to a post like this. Sorry

Don't worry Armitage, it's just that it was the first thing most people saw you say here, so it seemed a bit weird. Usually when people start posting here it's about anime or one of the debates or an introduction thread so it was rather unexpected ;)

I'm a pretty nerdy person myself - just got married though (to another nerdy person, thankfully!). So it's not impossible, so long as you don't get too caught up in it and avoid socialising, like the stereotypes people have mentioned.

If you have time by the way, I'd suggest you post in the introductions forum and tell people here a little more about yourself - where are you from and what are your favourite kinds of anime etc? It seems a good way to break the ice here.

Seeing the OP show the courage required to post asking for girls on an anime forum, adding weight behind the otaku stereotype, has made me feel brave.

Rui, will you be my e-bride and, at approximately 11:30 every evening, log on to MSN for passionate cyber love sessions? I don't mind mind if you need a few days to think over my proposal.

Sorry Aion dear, I'm afraid our red hot cybering sessions will have to wait; I have to kick my useless WoW arena team into shape in the evenings for the near future. They were slacking off while I was away :/

There is no bravery in admitting something to people you don't know and will never meet, and thus won't have to worry about the negligible consequences.

I'll care when something like that gets admitted in real life.

It's even more brave to suggest doing something like that on the net: Rui could actually be called Roy. If I, for some bizarre reason, suggested an offline mutual masturbation session to a random person in real life at least I'd know the persons gender...unless, of course, that person happened to be a tranny.

OP: 4chan is the place to go for girlfriend advice. /b/ would be happy to offer caring advice.
