I'm actually quite excited about this, the original was a classic and i doubt this will be as good as it but still it looks pretty good.

Does anyone else agree that Keanu Reeves looks well cast in the role?

A role where Keanu Reeves doesn't have to try? Awesome. I remember watching the trailer when seeing the Dark Knight, it looked alright.

Saw trailer few months back, don't really know what to think at the moment. Hoping they do a good job over a previouse classic. Keanu! Don't mess it up. Looked like he was playing Neo in the trailer.

Too bad how this one turned out. The alien motives and technology were all set up nicely at the start, and Keanu Reeves works pretty well in his inhuman role. Somewhere around the half way point though it goes off the rails. It reminded me of the 'War of the Worlds' remake from a few years back (not a bad film in itself) - only doing so much more wrong.

Also, did anyone else find that kid intensely irritating?
