Stein;Gate's Hayashi working on Bravely Default

Square Enix's upcoming RPG Bravely Default: Flying Fairy has caught the intrigue of western gamers with only a few screenshots and demo videos shown despite the fact that a Japanese release date has yet to be confirmed, never mind a European or American release. However, the excitement keeps on building as Square Enix has announced that 5pb.'s Naotaka Hayashi is working on the game's scenario. Hayashi is more commonly known as the scenario writer for 5pb.'s PC visual novel games Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate.


Akihiko Yoshida (Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy XII) is handling the character designs, with Tomoyo Asano (Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy IV DS and Fullmetal Alchemist: Curse of the Crimson Elixir) is producing the game.

Having read Steins;Gate a few months ago i can safely say i'm looking forward to any work from Hayashi, that storyline was something really out of the box :)
