Mangaminx here, reporting the second round fight results!. Spike used his style to defeat Shinji and his Evangelion Unit 01. In a decidedly close battle Motoko took down Kino (and presumably her talking motorbike Hermes aswell). Guts used his sword (which is more like a chunk of metal dont'cha know) to slice through Char and his Gundam. Yomiko bent Sakura's clow cards to her will in the closest battle yet just taking the victory. In the final week Ichigo defeated Souske in a close battle and Osaka toppled Hitomi.

Spike (Cowboy Bebop) vs. Vash (Trigun)
Spike took an early lead, ahead of Vash six votes to one at one point, before Vash started putting up a fight for love and peace. Spike stayed ahead, though, and managed to excel even his early head start in defeating Vash.
Final Score: 22:12 to Spike

Kirika (Noir) vs. Motoko (Ghost In The Shell)
In the coldest battle lined up so far, Kirika amazingly managed to gain an early lead, but Motoko’s vaster audience and fighting skills soon let her lead the way. A close fight compared to the male battle raging at the same time.
Final Score: 17:12 to Motoko

Shinji (Eva) vs. Ayato (RahXephon)
This was a fairly conclusive victory for Shinji, who proved that despite being a character often disliked, he still manages to pull the crowd over the more low key Ayato.
Final Score: 20:9 to Shinji

Yomiko (R.O.D.) vs. Seras (Hellsing)
A close call, both characters proving that they have a fanbase on the forums, but in the end Paper Master Yomiko Readman managed to secure a victory.
Final Score: 12:10 to Yomiko

Alex Rowe (Last Exile) vs. Guts (Berserk)
Alex Rowe assumed an early lead, but it became painfully clear later on that Berserk fans weren't going to rest and let the mighty Guts be beaten; Guts emerged a single vote ahead of the competition.
Final Score: 8:7 to Guts

Tohru (Fruits Basket) vs. Osaka (Azumanga Daioh)
Osaka managed to win a convincing victory over the cheerful Tohru, showing that perhaps many feel an empathy with her mind-blanked ways.
Final Score: 11:8 to Osaka

Naruto (Naruto) vs Ichigo (Bleach)
The two big shounen jump hitters battled it out for all it was worth, but once the dust settled Ichigo stood victorious by quite a large margin.

Usagi (Sailor Moon) vs Sakura (Card Captor Sakura)
The two big names in the magical girl world battled here with long engrish battle phrases and magic cards! But in the end it was Sakura Who triumphed.

Male Wildcards Week One
With ten characters to choose from and only two who can make it through, competition was tough, and eventually five winners were decided, each with four votes to their name. We bid those with less than four votes goodbye; the five lucky winners will still be fighting for another week to try and determine the two victors.

Female Wildcards Week One
Hitomi goes through to the next round.
Escaflowne’s Hitomi proved an early favourite to back, and she certainly did extremely well, reaching five votes, one vote ahead of the runners-up. Snapping straight at her heels were Kino and Excel, who must now fight to determine who goes through to the next round and who doesn’t, while Hitomi goes through.

Male Wildcards Week Two
With five characters battling it out head to head it was always going to be close as the undecided two wildcard slots for the guys were battled for. However when the dust had settled it was Char who was victorious with 7 votes, with Sousuke as runner up with 5 points also going through. Goku, Tetsuo and tenchi are eliminated.

Female Wildcards Week Two
In a fairly one sided battle for the runner-up spot between Kino and Excel, it was Kino who triumphed and goes through. Excel is out of the tournament.
