Nyan Koi, will there be a season 2?

i'm sure a few may remember this anime back from December, at the end of episode 12 there was an announcement that there will be a season 2

does anyone have any news about this? Cause i can't find anything related to a season 2 of Nyan Koi anywhere

any info regarding this would be very helpful, thanks :)
 
There doesn't seem to be any info, but that doesn't really mean anything. There can be several seasons or years between a show ending and it's sequel being officially announced.
 
if there was an announcement, which i don't remember seeing but it may have slipped my mind then there prolly will be but i wouldn't hold my breath. Nyan koi was pretty cool though
 
According to the Japanese wiki page, the show director was on a radio show in April where he said he wanted to animate some of the stories from later in the manga "even if it was as a DVD bundled with a volume of the manga", so I don't think anything has been confirmed past "they really want to make some more".
