A friend of mine is trying to remember an anime she saw as a child and after giving me a vague description, i've come to you for help as i'm stumped. Bearing in mind this might not even be an anime after all and some other cartoon, hopefully someone can help.
The time frame would be mid 80's (that she saw it anyway) and the description she gave is:
"It had a little girl/boy in it with short blonde hair and red dungaree's. i can remember the kid with a bandage round its head at some point in the film and then i think it was towards the end there were the robot things that had really long legs. kind of spider looking but they were pods and the kid went in one of those."
Any any ideas folks? First person that gets it, gets a cookie.
