Tis a new Ka (Katoki) styled version of the RX-78-2 model. It's abit hard to distinguish. Could be wrong though. Technically not the original Gundam design from Kidou Senshi Gundamu.

Even if anyone could afford to buy it, it's not actually for sale

I'd be more impressed with a solid gold Hyaku Shiki... (because it's supposed to be gold. Damn Bandai and its constant reissuing of kits in pointless, unfaithful colours!) in 1/1 scale of course.

Yep, as Dani said, it's a RX-78- ver. Ka - that is, the original Gundam redesigned by veteran artist Hajime Katoki. You can get a normal Gundam Fix Figuration version of it for about £15-20 online, which is basically a small but detailed action figure that comes with a ton of extra equipment and such. Not bad if you want something that looks good but don't want the hassle of putting it together.
