At least in theory you can buy a new case from Amazon/eBay, one which holds 4 discs. Although seems to be £10 for a pack of 5 at a brief glance.

Not really ideal, but saves damaging the discs

He’s still there he apparently has to approve what gets released hence why some stuff don’t cough Sarazanmai cough they seem against SoL and female aimed stuff.

My part 2 case was like that as well (still with slipcover as well). I ended up just swapping the discs out in to a different case.
There was no issue with playback of the discs because of that storage, but there were some very faint small scratches visible under a flashlight on them because of it.

That is his profile picture on Facebook, I don't see any posts stating that he has left though. Looks like it could have been a FB story, but I can't see that being used for such important information.

iirc doesn't Steins;gate 0 have like 2 different standard edition releases because manga thought at first it was a good idea to bundle DVD+BD then made a separate SKU that only had BD in it and it was something like £10 cheaper?

A DVD copy (with existing master) only adds like 50p to the production costs - but may save a lot more money later due to savings in distribution.
