Is the forum site slow? or people not replying often

Well think about it. Most of us on here live somewhere in the UK. So unlike other forums a lot of people won't be posting throughout the day as they might have either work/college/school/uni. In addition to that a lot of people won't be posting beyond say... 1 or 2am since 70% of the UK people have tucked themselves into their sleeping sacks for the night.
Seems like the logical reason why people don't post as frequently on here. I only got back from college at about 1pm myself.
Anyway I kinda like it like this. A nice little e-community where topics don't fly by so fast that no one can keep up and a lot of people have come to recognise other posters.

Indeed, this is the nicest, most friendly forum I have ever belonged to. And because it's a little sleepy, you get to know people more by their name and avatar, so it's kind of cool ^^.
I've only been posting recently during school time, because I've been off sick for the past two days.

Oh thanks then... And I agree, I always turn to this site when I don't want random people spamming up topics...
Its just that when its like 6pm and theres like 6-7 people online, they don't reply fast... But anyway, i ain't forcing people to reply faster, I'm only bothered about how the post make sense...

Remember, people often leave the computer on at certain webpages. Also, it's a forum, not an instant messaging client. One would expect there to be delays of hours, if not days, on forums. Anything quicker, and you're luck ^^.

Someone makes a topic couple of hours later someone replies as the thread goes on it gets a sort of side chat and you get to know people over the day
Unlike over forums were it's e-drama over and over with tons of people when someone disagrees with them they suddenly have no life,there ugly and there stupid :cry:

These forums have always been quite good to be on, got several members on my wlm friends list now, and even still its not to fast with the topics. in the case of me not posting every chance i get, i don't get much chance to be online due to the fact that i don't have my own computer so i rely on getting onto everyone else's here in the house, on occasion i am up till all hours of the day(not sleeping on occasion) and post then.

I agree, except it's pretty annoying when threads go on for hundreds of pages, especially when looking for just one post in particular.
I mean, it's fine for things like forum games and "What did you do today" type stuff, but otherwise it can just slow stuff down.
In addition, it's always nice to look at a forum brimming with diverse and interesting thread which are all active, as opposed to one active one and three dead ones.

I don't use the forum half as much as i used to, mostly because i don't go online as much as i used to, and when i'm on the forum i don't post so much as i used to either, i guess i'm more selective with the topics i reply to, or maybe just lazier, lol.
You really do appreciate what a good forum this is though when you go onto one of the larger forums. Topics wizz past before you get a conversation going, or have a chance to read other peoples posts, and there seems to be some relationship between the size of a forum and the rudeness of the people on it
