GTO: The Early Years

I was thinking about buying this series, but I was wondering if the volumes released by tokyopop are actually two of the original volumes in one, because according to ANN there are 31 books, and according to tokyopop there are 15. Also their releases are around twice the thickness of a regular volume.

I just wanted to know before I get them. Thank You in advance.
 
Yeah as far as I know they're two in one. I've got the first volume of this and it's about 400 pages thick! This price is a touch higher but as you're getting double the page count it's no problem! :D

The style's a bit differnt as it was earlier in the writer's career. It takes a bit of getting used to, but after about 100 pages I was into it. I really liked it and hope to get more. (I know volume 2's out but want to finish GTO first)

Oh yeah and the humour still as crude, but less subtle hence the 18+ rating! :lol:
 
That's a really good price. If you see it in a comic shop expect to pay around £8.50 which against the regular £6.99 is fine with me.
