I checked through the future releases of play.com for some odd reason, but I found some very interesting things there.
The forthcoming Del Rey releases have been scheduled for the announced titles (Ghost Hunt, Negima, Tsubasa, Guru Guru Pon chan, Basilisk etc.)

It looks like from the multiple entries (and different ISBNs) that they are releasing multiple volumes of each on that day. They could have caught up with many of the US releases by the end of the year, if they continue at that rate. That could wipe out the necessity to import (yes thats a good thing).
I didnt expect this, but its nice that they have learned well from the Tokyopop situation, and are pretty serious about weaning importers off of that expensive habit.
I spotted a bunch of other stuff too, like theres a whole pile of yaoi titles planned. So obviously somebody is trying to recreate the US yaoi success over here.
