Getting a special run on big screens ahead of its physical media release, the finale of the “Evangelion Rebuild” films is quite the experience and sitting in front of a large cinema screen will certainly add to that, but does Hideaki Anno’s third attempt at an ending to Evangelion get it right, or was it not wrong in the first place?

I think that it gets it right-mostly. There are a few things I question and a few that don't make any sense but overall it's quite a satisfactory conclusion to the remake series.
 
Good review; its super hard to talk about without being buried in lore or going heavy into spoilers but this strikes a nice balance. I really enjoyed this film, I sadly missed it in cinemas but look forward to its physical release so I can finally complete my collection :)
