Doki Doki - The Manchester Japanese Festival 2013

Really can't make up my mind on this as really just a mooch around and eating is all I'd do and basically see what exactly their "anime" side is all about. At £12 inc delivery per ticket though, I must say what an aboslute rip off when compared to the £6 for the Comic Con.

I can kinda understand but in my case i've never been to a con at all so i really wanna go :c

Warrington are having a "con" of sorts in their Indoor Market on August 10th.

It's called "The Wrath of Con" and it's FREE entry! Their fb event says it's a mini con featuring a day of cosplay, gaming, specialist stalls, tournaments, comics, sci-fi, collectibles and much more.

It's the first time they're doing anything like this there and I'm definitely going as a return train tickets only like £8 and they have an Ask Italian there and Ask is one of my fave franchises so I will be having lunch there :D

You should defo try and go there. If I have a good time there and Doki Doki add more, I may go.

Since I can't afford a second holiday this year now it also cuts out the October con which I wanted to go to as that'd cost me over £200 for travel, entry, accomodation and spends and you can get corny hols abroad for a week for not much more than that so yeah I refuse to part with that much :(
So I really need things to do this year. Atm I have two themed nights in my fave restaurant, the Wrath of Con and day trips to Liverpool (museums!) and Chester (pretty and the zoo!) so Doki Doki has upped on my interest list a tad.

Hmm, Warrington is a bit far from me mind. And i'd still be stuck with the problem of no-one to go with :p

You shouldn't let being on your lonesome stop you (if you can help it). I trekked all the way to Brum and back last year for the Expo there and only ran into an aquaintance for about 2 hours whilst there. Other than that I did all queueing and exploration by myself and felt completely comfortable :)

Can't decide on Warrington this Sat. Going to have to decide on the day once I've checked my money situation as I refuse to go if all I can do is look. I MUST buy! So depends if I can buy :p

It's a lot nicer enjoying things with friends mind. Shame mine don't have any form of interest for anime/manga.
