Amazing world we live in where Boruto and My Hero Academia are 15s but Cells at Work can mop the floor with blood and pass with a PG.
Educate them kids, MVM!
A larger amount than usual today:
Land of the Lustrous: PG (includes long BBFC insight)
March comes in like a lion (episodes 1-21): PG (didn't Anime Limited already release this as a 12?)
Junjo Romantica (season 2): 15
Quite the contrary—I think they're much better than the American MPAA, but they've been too strict on innocent references in a handful of anime (Your Name., the K-On! movie, and now Amanchu!).
Anyone else notice several of Anime Limited's new and very close releases are missing from the BBFC database? In particular: Amanchu!, Love Live! Sunshine, March comes in like a lion, and Shomin Sample. (I really just wanted to see if Shomin Sample had made it through uncut.)
According to the latest BBFC "minutes" brief, Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid will be cut by the BBFC. The specific language used about cuts necessary throughout suggests it could be quite heavily.
Some upcoming titles for the BBFC Russian roulette (from the schedule):
A Thousand and One Nights
Cleopatra: Queen of Sex
Seven Mortal Sins
I doubt there will ever be a UK release of the rest of Fate/kaleid liner at this point - though the first season was rated 12, the loli antics get...
Rakugo was one I was really looking forward to and messaged them a few months ago about; they replied something along the lines of "Can't give any updates right now but stay tuned". :(
A little worried about The Testament of Sister New Devil. Amazon still lists it for November 27th, Anime Limited says Q4 2017. Hyouka comes out December 3rd and already has a BBFC classification. Think it might be having BBFC troubles?
