To be fair to Chomolungma and Miaka to a certain degree, I actually thought the, erm, scenes in the 6th episode between George and Yukari were done pretty well, even if neither of them are my favourite characters by far. Having not read the manga before, I'm kind of hoping we'll get to know more...

I can understand your point of view, I just think the other 3 at the atelier are more interesting characters, especially 'Isabella' - it's not often you have transvestites depicted in anime/manga, though that's not the main reason I find 'her' interesting.

What I saw of it, having quite the soft spot for the Tenchi tree of anime, I have to say I was bitterly disappointed with. The animation was terrible - it felt like it had been made before Ryo-Okhi and Tenchi TV at times; I hated the drawing style too - another backwards step from the other...

Most recently I bought Civilization IV, and it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that it takes up all of my game time. There doesn't seem to many on here that have it though, or maybe I'm just blind. :?

Not today, but recently: Last Exile volumes #5 and #6 Cowboy Bebop vol. #6 And I've borrowed Nausicaä: Valley Of The Wind off my friend; if it's half as good as the manga, then I'll be quids in! :D

My first manga was Urusei Yatsura, principally because I'd already seen a couple of the films and I was aware that the TV series never made it/never was going to make it here.

To be honest, I'd prefer their relationship to be dumbed down a bit as it takes the focus away from what differentiates ParaKiss from a lot of other shoujo anime. I mean, how many anime are about fashion (forgetting how vain and pointless the world of fashion is for a moment) instead of romance...

Definitely Ergo Proxy most from that list, even if it has been delayed. Notable mentions go to Hell Girl and Noein ~ Mou Hitori no Kimi e as well.

Paranoia Agent #1, followed by Cowboy Bebop #6 and some way behind that is Chobits #3.

I have the first one, and I must say it is quite superb, especially for "Skywriting", i.e. the song that plays when it's a flashback to the whole Claus and Lavie's deceased dads era.

Maybe you think that because several new storylines were introduced, which I can understand. When something like that happens, I usually give whatever it is a second watch because some anime I've seen definitely requires that to fully grasp what's going on. Didn't you think Claus's relationships...

I felt a need to up this thread after recently acquiring and watching the fourth volume of it. I can say with great confidence that it is certainly the best one to date, and at last it develops a few of the more "mysterious" characters of the series.

Recently read Ranma 1/2 #6, Kodocha #7 (which I've lost somewhere) and Maison Ikkoku #14 (the last one) - needless to say, I liked the ending. 8)

Sakaki from Azumanga Daioh or Washu from Tenchi, neither of which are on there....so I guess it'd be Rei, then! :lol:
