My most despised, but at the same time, most comprehensible character in NGE; Shinji. Used such a thick pencil for the eyes it managed to cause some weird bumpy, reflections. I could say "ooo, yay, textured", but it looks sh*te ^^

Got my copy of NGE Plat #3 - twas excellent as expected. Thinking about getting more Daioh, but I think I might leave it in anticipation of buying the GITs TV series.

Ferkin' hell, what's your bandwidth usage limit?! The site's not media-intensive at all, and you still manage to exceed it!

Yeh, definitely go for the NGE Platinum version if you don't already have the original NGE DVDs. But if you do have the original DVDs, then you'll have to be pretty die-hard to ship out another load of cash for the Platinums!

On the contrary, you can do ANYTHING in ART GCSE or A level, as long as you have a full pad, with some decent explanation of how you arrived at whatever it is you created.

Yes, of course it does. But in the eyes of a moderator, it's just a cartoon. Tis' a shame really, as it is subject that could have some real depth to it. Unfortunately, my teacher simple told me it wasn't sophisticated enough for A2 level. Oh well, back to Degas...

If you don't mind me asking, what grade did you get?! It's just that my teacher tells me not to draw any anime or cartoons in the pads, as they tend not to be marked very highly at all!
